Invite Family and Friends

You can now invite family members and friends to your journal. Invited users will have access to read the journal, regardless of its privacy settings. Even if the journal is set to private, members can still visit and view its content.

When inviting someone, you can assign specific permissions to determine their level of access.

The available permission levels are:

• Owner: The user who created the journal is the owner and has full rights. This role cannot be changed or assigned to anyone else.
• Administrator: Has full access to the journal, including creating posts, uploading images, and modifying settings.
• Reader: Can only read and comment on the journal, regardless of its privacy settings.

How to Invite Someone

You can invite up to 20 people to your journal. To send an invitation, enter the person’s email address, and they will receive an email with an activation link. This link is valid for 3 days.

To invite friends and family, go to “Family & Friends”, enter their email, and send the invitation. Once they accept, they will appear in your list of members.
